Who writes it
Claire Haddon has spent more than fifteen years helping Canadians navigate the fine print of life insurance. After watching family members struggle to understand policies they'd held for years, she became committed to making insurance language accessible to the people who need it most. She writes and edits every page on KnowYourPolicy.ca with one question in mind: would my mother understand this?
How we work
Every article on this site goes through the same process: research from publicly available policy documents and regulatory filings, plain-language drafting, and a review by a licensed Canadian insurance professional before publication.
